WHO: |
| ICA is an independent company involving
just four committed individuals who want to see a prospering, flourishing
and culturally developing Inverness. |
WHAT: |
| ICA is a quality, glossy, colour,
monthly ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT [& more] magazine for the Inverness
and Nairn area. |
WHEN: |
| It is distributed every month -
usually a week in advance of a new month beginning - by your postie. |
WHERE: |
| It is delivered to EVERY home and
business address within Inverness and Nairn. Obviously it goes to
the whole of the city of Inverness - but what are its boundaries?
From Slochd to Fort Augustus to Cannich to Beauly and Muir Of Ord
to Munlochy to Nairn to just short of Forres. For now. |
WHY: |
| ICA launched in September 2001 to
provide Britain’s newest city with a local guide FOR LOCALS
that would be OF REAL USE. |
|
It has as it’s
backbone our FREE LISTINGS SERVICE - a comprehensive at-a-glance what’s
on list for the area. It doesn’t cost to be included, so it covers
more events than any other listing. One handy publication that tells you
everything you can do entertainment wise in the coming month, that you
don’t have to remember to go out and buy - it is delivered by Royal
Mail each and every month - absolutely FREE. What’s
the catch? There is no catch.
Just a simple business philosophy: By being such an invaluable local
tool, by including loads of independent editorial [and uniquely NO advertising
features that offer little reader value], we find that - surprise, surprise
- loads of people read it.
That means that advertisers’ ads actually yield a response.
That means it pays for itself with ad revenue.
And we don’t load it with more ads than
editorial, either - that would break the golden rule of being a good
read.
